asrx has a mission: to help Australia make the most of our clean energy transition.
Why we are
The renewable energy transition is transforming how we power our world — but it's creating a new challenge as we scale up use of this technology. Solar panels, battery systems and wind components don't last forever. But when they reach the end of their life, there are currently shortcomings in how we process these systems:
Most solar panels end up in landfill, stockpiled or exported overseas.
Cost and emissions for transporting systems from site to recyclers are high.
No one knows where systems and materials ends up as tracking is not standard.
Aussie manufacturers don’t have enough recovered material volume for reliable production.
We believe there is room for improvement.
ASRX develops and delivers circular end-of-life solutions for renewable energy technologies. We provide asset owners, installers, recovery facilities, processors and manufacturers with a coordinated approach so we can get recovered materials back into industry as quickly, competitively and efficiently as possible. ASRX is focused on bringing together high volume trading, smarter renewable powered logistics and local processing partnerships to close the loop on renewable energy technology.
Because this clean energy transition has so much more to give than just clean energy.
